OVERSIZED PRE-TIED HEADWEAR   Are you looking for comfort in your headwear collection? Ahhh....there is nothing like comfort for me. I love the feeling of lightweight, non constricting headcoverings. When I went shopping for this seasons headwear I fell in love with this choice fabric. The fabric has a touch of shimmer ( little touch of glam) and the fabric itself is non slippery and washes amazing. The cut of this pattern (style) is a large oversized pattern. Oversized Pre-Tied Metallic fabric comes in 3 great colors:   Black / Turquoise Black / Gold Black / Silver   ANOTHER thing I like about this pattern is that when you slip on the Pre-tied you can tie the tails to your comfort with ease. You can't go wrong with a classic black and white cotton scarf. We offer this as a square, that you can tie yourself. To all our new and devoted customers- I would like to go over and  explain some of our products in the section called "hats and head coverings"   We will be understanding what the differences is -between the Tichel kerchief and Oversized pretieds. These two categories can be found in the shop by department - hats and head coverings  Tichel - Kerchief   What is a Tichel? Sometimes called a Kerchief as well.    A Tichel is a square scarf that  we  fold and make into a head scaf. I would say that your Bubby -most likely wore this style head covering in Europe, in the Shtetl. All married Jewish ladies covered their hair out of modesty and a sign that she is married. Fabric and texture have come a long way  in the Tichel world. We no longer tie the kerchief under our chin in the front. The Tichel is pretied with our soft elastic in the back. We offer sizes on the elastic so there is no need to tie. Another novelty is the Strip grip that is built into the front inner side to help keep your head wear from sliding around   Oversized pretieds   Now lets talk about the Oversized pretieds. This section  is different because its not a square scarf that we work with. We buy fabric on a roll and we cut the fabric into  headwear. The end results is pretty similar to the Tichel kerchief.  This too has a built in elastic for a pretied look. Some woman like the fabric feel and texture  better then a Tichel or vis versa. The strip grip  in also built into the Oversized pretieds     Both itmes - Tichel kerchief and the oversized pretied have options to build in a strip grip -This edge inner keeps your headwear from slipping and sliding.   What is a Strip Grip? A strip grip is a 3/4”-1"  piece of velvet that is sewn into the band of head covering of your choice. It is designed to eliminate the slipping and sliding that usually occurs. That’s why we call it the SLIP GRIP! It is smooth, comfortable and not sweaty. SLIP BANDS - WOW! What loaded words . At MillineryShop.net we have sold over 200 slip bands in two days with one of these daily Groupon style deals. We have had so many questions comparing one slip band verses the cotton version of the slip band - it's not that one band style is better then the other!!!!    It is different based on ones needs. Who would of believed a site that carries mostly ladies HEADWEAR  started making face masks and sold out right away.   All over we are all trying to keep safe and that means face protection. Some states now have a law that states  everyone out and about MUST wear a FACE MASK.    We now have a children size for young kids -face mask baby shark print.   For our second run of manufacturing face masks we learned that people with glasses are having a hard time with wearing masks. Their glasses are being steamed up. Breathing air in the mask created the lens to became foggy. We took that issue into considerations and now cut the masks a little larger so that the glasses can sit on the fabric. That seems to be helping. Who would of thought....   It seems WEARING  FACE MASKS  this will be the look for a while ...
